Expectations
Electrolysis has a time proven record of safety. Many people world wide prefer this method of hair removal. In 1999, the FDA released a statement that only electrolysis could use the term "permanent hair removal" in their advertising.
Electrolysis is a series of treatments which when properly done by a skilled electrologist results in smooth, hair free skin.
During the process, a very fine probe is gently inserted into the follicle.There is already an opening there that the hair grew out of.The skin is not pierced at any time.
After a treatment, it is not unusual for our client to feel more relaxed
than before the start of the treatment.
A mild shortwave current is then carefully applied at the base of the follicle for a fraction of a second. Next the treated hair is lifted from the follicle. When all the hairs in the area are treated and removed, a soothing lotion is applied to the skin.
